QI Tech launches groundbreaking AI solution that boosts productivity in FIDC assignor onboarding by up to 80%

Proprietary technology reduces the process from as long as four days to just one hour, delivering greater efficiency and security

QI Tech, a leader in financial services infrastructure, has announced the launch of a groundbreaking artificial intelligence (AI) solution for the capital markets. The technology reduces the FIDC assignor onboarding process from as long as four days to just a few hours, delivering productivity gains of up to 80% for fund managers and consultants involved in the process.

Currently, the review and interpretation of documents such as articles of association, fund regulations, and meeting minutes are still largely performed through almost entirely manual processes. This limits operational scalability and increases costs. In some cases, assignor onboarding can take days to complete, causing fund managers and consultants to miss business and fundraising opportunities.

QI Tech’s new AI solution removes this bottleneck by automating the validation of signing authority. It identifies who is authorized to sign documents on behalf of the assignor and verifies the validity of the company’s articles of association in under 20 seconds.

The process includes background anti-fraud and AML/CFT/CPF checks — anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, and counter-proliferation financing. Integrated with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology, the solution validates critical identity information in real time, including signatories’ Brazilian identity cards (RG) and driver’s licenses (CNH).

Another key feature is the automatic generation of agreements based on the information entered into the platform, eliminating the need for manual drafting. The solution is also integrated with CertifiQI, QI Tech’s proprietary digital-certificate electronic signature platform, ensuring the legal validity of the process.

The solution is not an isolated initiative. It is directly connected to QI Tech’s broader project to redefine the role of fund administration and custody in Brazil. Since becoming the country’s largest FIDC administrator and custodian, according to ANBIMA’s ranking, the company has introduced technologies designed to address the obstacles that have historically constrained the industry: slow processes, a heavy reliance on manual work, and compliance weaknesses.

According to Emílio Moreira, CEO of QI Tech’s fund administration and custody division, the solution represents a milestone in the modernization of the capital markets:

“Our goal is to eliminate bottlenecks that continue to hold back innovation. By using AI to automate the validation of signing authority, we can provide our clients with significantly greater speed, security, and efficiency, allowing fund managers and consultants to focus on what truly matters: delivering results and generating new business.

More than that, this solution embodies our AI-first DNA: using artificial intelligence as the foundation for transforming financial infrastructure as a whole, from credit to custody and from origination to settlement,” he said. risk of the operations, which remain on the balance sheet for short periods and are predominantly assigned to third parties. The agency also emphasizes the high quality of the company’s assets, 56% of which consist of Brazilian government securities.
